Judith is dedicated to activities that benefit society. As a biomedical scientist her research focused on applied relevance for the study and treatment of cardiovascular disease and obesity.
Since retiring from the University of Cincinnati, she has worked as an advocate for girls and young women with several Cincinnati low-income inner-city communities.
She was a co-founder of the Harmony Project which provides seed money and creative energy for a variety of projects and organizations.
She states, "I hope to be remembered for my conviction that every girl must be encouraged to reach her full potential-regardless of her race and ethnicity, her physical or emotional challenges, her socioeconomic status, her geographic location, her religion, or her sexual orientation."
